A month already? So not fair, but here I am with another progress report...

Didn't do exceptionally too much in February, being that it's the shortest month and I did mostly modelling work, which takes a long time as I'm still learning but let's get into it.

First thing this month was I reached out to creator of GrappleComponent Jon Van Dam about why the sequencing camera wasn't working for me. He let me know that my character capsule was actually set to block all Camera movement, which is why I could never properly program the camera. Once we fixed that blockade, I am now fully able to mess with the character camera to do any custom animation during a grapple move. Below -- for Patrons only -- is a gameplay clip showing off many of these tests and blending values. I think camera is extremely important for showing off impact of certain moves, as well as hiding any flaws in an animation that may arise.

You may notice this video has a new arena! That's right, I got burnt out by animation so I decided to spend Feb making a new arena prototype. First, shoutout to James Gunn for the design inspiration from the Peacemaker opening credits, and the venue structure is inspired by The Great Hall in Toronto, Ontario where I would go to watch Superkick'd many times years ago. Thirdly, shout out to The Notorious Amber Jo for letting me use her promo art as placeholder artwork.

One free screenshot, the rest for subs. Hopefully, March has more progress to report. I'm getting back to animation soon.
