Pee-Wee's Uncle

Do all gangs sing songs? If so, do they sing them as an exercise to improve cohesion? Do they sing for timing their crimes like Hudson Hawk? Do they sing to warn people who are on their turf? Are gangs more whimsical than I thought?

Everyone has a story about the movie that messed them up as a kid: Short Circuit 2 is mine. The image of this living robot - a robot who's so alive his name rhymes with "alive"! - getting smashed to pieces as it pleads for its life did some proper psychological damage at the time. "Living robot" is pretty much an extension of the "talking animal" genre - if Paddington had included a scene where two criminals work him over with a fire axe, the world would be quite a different place now.
