I also think you should watch the movie before getting into any of the episodes of Season 2; that's how I did it about a month ago and I feel that it was the right way. Some people are saying that the first five episodes of Season 2 provide some valuable insight into the movie, but I think that's just hindsight bias. Yes, the episodes can provide you with a little more info, but none of that info is essential to understand and enjoy the movie. My vote is: Movie first, then season 2.

I was reading the manga but stopped just after what's happening in S2. I'll wait for the anime. What an epic show man! Easily one of the best animes of the decade in my opinion. Can't wait for our boy Lucky to react 😱
