Minato didn't realize it was Obito. He realized that this enemy was the same one who attacked the leaf and still had the mark. Its only when Obito said Sensei he realized it was Obito.

In terms of durability and stamina Obito is up there with Hashirama, Nagato, and Naruto.

idk about that, uzumakis have hella chakra, but hes behind them for sure, hes survived hella fatal wounds aswell, a literal stab to the heart aswell

Imagine Neji would not have died but instead would have received a a sudden powerup. Nevertheless this was one of my favourite episodes and one of the best fist to fist fights in anime history. I wish animes would more often spend more money to animate those...I really cant stand nuclear bomb battles anymore.

1. Kakashi vs Obito is easily one of the, if not, the best fight in the series (just an opinion) 2. This fight is actually my favourite because of the following reasons : A) no flashy nuclear explosions B) pure skill based fight C) the emotional baggage behind the said fight D) the transitions between the past and the present that were shown during the fight E) the moment when Obito pushed his younger self away at the end was really quite symbolic too F) Kakashi's resolve to save his comrades and the Obito of the past, touched my heart G) I know this last reason is a bit biased as to why I consider this fight to be the best fight of the series but imma still say it. The reason is because Kakashi (my fav. Character) is involved in this fight. 3. The birth of the 10 tails jinchiruki. Damn that was cool.

guess everybody is confused and fascinated by Sasuke at this point :D the fight between Kakashi and Obito is just amazing you cant find shit like this anywhere else :) Kakashi has finally decided to leave Obito in the past and focus on the future of Naruto :) that was so tragic, Minato just teleported to his old enemy from the past and slashed him only to realize its actually Obito, that was very well done :) looks like Obito still didn’t say his last word, enter Juubito :D the way he was born as the Ten-Tails jinchuriki was so dope :)

I think this is the single best naruto/naruto shippuden episode ever. Usually, one important event is streched 3-5 episodes but they fit everything in this one. The way they play with emotions is amazing, even flashbacks (which is sometimes annoying) are perfect in this episode, fight, animation, suspense, music, everything is perfect... The ending is just epic, it shows Obito's resolve. Stabbed by his best friend, tortured and controlled by his master, slashed by his teacher. He couldn't have chosen a better time to ascend to something else, now we've reached a completely new power level! Welcome Juubito.

So just a couple things you may have missed: 1. You asked why Madara wants to return to a real body even though he wouldn't have all the advantages of being a reanimated shinobi. That's because Madara wanted to become the ten tails jinjuriki but he cannot until he is fully alive, that is he cannot become the jinjuriki as a reanimated shinobi. 2. Also, you seemed confused as to when Obito drew the hand signs to become jinjuriki. It was before Minato's attack not while he was down after his attack. As Naruto also pointed out, when Madara started to control Obito to make him weave the hand signs for rinne rebirth, he broke his manipulation from the beginning and was weaving the signs to become the jinjuriki the whole time.
