Btw the black rock is obito’s grave along with everyone who died on that war while rin is buried somewhere else (where kakashi gives her flowers and obito throws them away)

I really slept on this filler arc at first because I'm a manga canon purist. but this arc is amazing. That "Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura.. I'm going to believe in you" rips my heart out everytime.

I like to think kakashi left naruto tied up to get him back for the erasure lol. That's the twisted sense of humor kakashi has.

1. Danzo made multiple attempts to mess with hiruzen, even going to the point of trying to Assassinate him, but hiruzen forgave him. However the same hiruzen was like "I don't want for this to happen, but let's just annihilate the uchiha clan just to be on the safer side". I know he wasn't happy about it but he didn't did anything to help the situation either. So that just goes to show that Hiruzen had a soft spot for Danzo but not the Uchiha. And the Uchiha's were just plotting a coup, they hadn't actually done it yet, whileas with Danzo, he had already tried to assault and assassinate hiruzen. So hiruzen, danzo and the elders prosecuted Uchiha's for something they hadn't even done yet, whereas Danzo simply just got away with it. 2. However I'm not trying to bash Hiruzen, because if you think about it, Hiruzen was the longest serving hokage. He served for like 50 years as hokage, so it's kinda obvious that if you serve that long, you are bound to make some mistakes here and there with the administration. It's only natural. He was a human after all. 3. You remember it right, during the filler episodes somewhere around 176-180, we saw Kakashi peeping over naruto, sasuke and Sakura, trying to know their personalities a bit better. It was right after the pain arc. In that filler arc, we also saw that Iruka wasn't always on naruto's side but slowly opened upto him. 4. "A shadow of tragedy follows this eye, but this eye, whether it's for the better or for the worse, it holds the key to my feelings towards my comrades, some say that the downside is that those feelings attract tragedy, to prevent such things, it's my duty to ensure my pupils treasure their comrades." This line depicts exactly just how serious Kakashi is about inspiring the culture of teamwork in his pupils. 5. You weren't the only one who teared up when Kakashi said," Obito, did you see that? I'll never ever forget about you or Rin, but I think that for now, I'm going to move forward with some new comrades. Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, I'm going to believe in you, and Obito, Rin, I'll make you both A promise, I'll believe in my comrades and never let them die". I cried too and I'm sure many other fans did as well. 6. Kakashi shadow of the anbu black ops arc is such an amazing arc that calling it a filler is an insult. It connects the dots perfectly and reveals a ton of details about not only Kakashi but also Yamato and Itachi. It's just unfortunate that it's mentioned as a filler arc in the databooks.

Exactly, the main reason is because Obito doesn't have a grave. They could never retrieve Obito's body from under the boulders and assumed he was dead. That's why he only has his name engraved on the KIA STONE without having an actual grave of his own. While as for Rin, they made a grave for her, because they actually had her body unlike obito.

I cried to when watched this episode first time.😭😭😭. There was too many pain in Kakashi's life and he lost his way. But when he met Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura,Kakashi finaly found his way😊😊😊. Sorry for mistakes, english is not my native language. It is my first comment here. Greeting from Russia🤗🤗🤗

remember when Kakashi at the beginning of the series when they fought Zabuza said to Sasuke and others that he wont let his comrades die, just like Obito :) imagine that Sasuke using his Sharingan to stop Naruto, well things went a bit different, kinda the opposite :P Hiruzen made some poor choices in his life but he made plenty of great ones as well :) our guys really gave Kakashi a brand new start :)

This all happened in the manga , so technically its Canon but the anime didn't know how to adapt it so they made it Anime Canon
