Nah I don't think he was average. Those wind attacks and his summoning were great. He was just at a huge disadvantage against the Susanoo and he severely underestimated Sasuke

Kakashi protect rin, obito protected rin, yahiko and nagato protected konan. But my boy Sasuke didnt care and was the only one to not be a simp. This is why I loved sasuke he gave us so much action and didnt care at all

The Kinkaku force ( the group of 20 people just mentioned) survived Tobirama. At least 2 of them. (Mods please don't count this as a spoiler. This will not affect further reactions anyway)

After you wipe the tears and think back, you will realize that Danzo's backstory makes him look worse. The fact is, this guy has always been a coward. He only preached self sacrifice, when it was other people who were making the sacrifice. He was never willing to sacrifice his life for the leaf and most of his actions to protect the leaf benefited him personally. The entire Uchiha clan was slaughtered which was his idea, and he ended up with a bunch of sharingan. There might have been another way to deal with it, but it would not have benefited danzo personally. His guards were basically killed by Tobi and Danzo didn't bat an eyelash. He sacrificed people freely with no regrets or remorse. Then here in his final moments, he still did not sacrifice himself, because he was already going to die. In the end, he died as a hypocrite who preached self sacrifice and never lived up to it.

I don't mind you stopping during the reaction. Also, I love Danzo's death, it's so well done. Everything in the show is deeper than what meets the eye. It literally asks you, it BEGS you to look at these villains (and heroes) and see it from every perspective. Masterpiece
