I'm glad you skip the fillers I'm really enjoying the episode and the reaction. I don't care for the fillers a waste of time but if it is character development then it's good but most of them are trash

So since you asked these are the power of the rinnegan that have been displayed by Nagato (No Spoilers as you said): You've already seen the next episode so you know that Nagato can summon and control the demonic statue, produce black receivers into which he can channel his chakra which allows him to effectively control any person dead or alive (though as you saw if you have immensely powerful chakra like Naruto aided by the Nine tails someone who's alive can resist it). In addition to the above, all of the techniques and powers the six pains used are powers of the rinnegan. These are: the gravitational powers of the Deva Path (which also allows him to use planetary devastation); all of the summons available to the Animal Path; the limitless Ninjutsu absorptive potential of the Preta Path; the control over others' souls with the Human Path; the different options of mechanisation in the Asura Path; access to the King of Hell through the Naraka Path. Basically Nagato's legs were badly injured in the fight against Hanzo that you saw and his legs were burned off by Hanzo, leaving him crippled. So in order to use all of the six powers he provided his chakra to the dead bodies and controlled them. But a completely healthy Nagato with healthy legs would be able to move and use all of the rinnegan's powers with himself without having to rely on funneling his chakra into dead bodies (you were asking how Nagato save Yahiko and Konan that's how. I think he was able to absorb the ninjutsu or repel it using almighty push. But his body wasn't strong enough to take the impact I guess). So to sum up the rinnegan abilities are: the powers possessed by the six pains + control of demonic statue + producing black receivers. A quick word also on Nagato's own abilities separate from the rinnegan: As mentioned by Jaraiya, Nagato mastered all of the five nature transformations and the yang release by the time he was ten years old. He also mastered every single justu Jaraiya taught him and apart from that he was adept sensor (as shown he used the rain to monitor everyone in the hidden rain village). Needless to say he had incredible chakra reserves that are required to control and manipulate the pains and take on the entire hidden leaf village and then Naruto.
