Amazing reaction as always! That's why pain pissed off after Tsunade said our nation suffered the same deaths, injuries and pain. That's why triggered pain to use the huge almighty push on the entire village.

This part of his story is sad. The Hidden Leaf really isn't the innocent village we thought it was back in OG Naruto. First we saw how the politics was at play which led to the entire Uchiha clan being murdered by one of their own. Then now, we see that the great nations including the hidden leaf would engage in war together but would never use their own lands as the battlefield, but would choose to fight in a village that had nothing to do with any of their issues and would totally result in a lot of casualties of the people there, and destroy their homes and everything, leaving them to have to pick up the pieces, while the great nations return to their villages that were untouched. No wonder Pain would seek this justice.

When i watched this episode first time i was so shocked when pain gived this speech. I felt like all of the episodes i watched had made "glitter picture" for leaf village. I was crushed that pain was right even leaf had made terrible things to world. Are we heroes or are we villains? From that day on i declared pain as god of the villains. To this day he is my favorite still 🖤

I will write a long text on Pain later. However, there are a couple of things to fix first. The first is that Nagato is a fatalist and does not believe in people. He really believes that people will never understand each other and will not be able to live in harmony, that we are not the smartest. This is the view that he has on the world. And his decisions also exist in reality. In fact, he proposes to create a nuclear deterrent. To create such weapons that everyone will be afraid to use so that people keep the peace. And the worst thing is that this is all that we people could come to. We were able to create such a terrible weapon that war between large countries is no longer possible. And countries that do not have nuclear weapons continue to suffer from attacks from larger and stronger countries. Why is no one fighting against North Korea now? Why does the last totalitarian state in the world still exist? Because they most likely have nuclear weapons. Therefore, the US threatens North Korea, but does not attack them directly. So glad to see you finally come around on how amazing my boy Pain is, and finally seeing the true Pain in Nagato. Pain/Nagato just keeps getting better with the rest of this arc. Also, so glad you love the speech. It's probably the most important speech in the series that changes the entire outlook and mindset of Naruto and the show!

Ah, finally you KNOW Pain :) I know everyone has been telling "you will know Pain" and stuff like that a zillion times, but thankfully it can't spoil how deep this thing is! After Jiraya/Kakashi I was "feeling pain", but this speech turned this to whole knew level. I started thinking Kosovo and Syria, Vietnam, nuclear weapons. How everyone who suffers are the common folk who could be you or I, while other big nations fund the war far away. Another bomb in Syria won't be in the headlines, while big countries are talking about how Trump forgot whether Africa is a country or not. I'm happy that you felt how deep this goes. While Naruto wanted vengeance, I wanted vengeance. But to make a scene where the bad guy makes you think should you have your revenge or not... this is pure gold for me. Especially after Naruto has always been the peaceful one who uses Talk-no-jutsu, and now this "monster" flips it around. [Oh and besides the point, one of the next episodes is animated with a very different animation style. People are very divided about this style, and for me it looked funny at first, but later on I got used to it, and now i adore it. The weird high-speed artistic freedom to create the feeling of speed or emotions at high cost of reality. You remember those Naruto episodes where nothing really happens and they use the same five frames for 10 min chat and only their mouth moves? This is the opposite of that, where you use every frame. It is hard to do right, but it is usually in very different way that people notice that "ah, this is that kind of animation". It is good for fast space action, and pretty much necessary if you want a continuous fight without long pauses with limited budget. Anyway, I'm gonna assume you will be surprised at first :D ] Oh and sorry for the long message. I'm just hyped :D

Great reaction as always. Just my personal opinion, but as amazing as Naruto is in Sage Mode taking out 5 Pains, he was incredibly lucky with timing that the Yahiko Pain didn't have his power for so long. I don't think he could take out half of them if Yahiko was using Almighty Push or Universal Pull every 5 seconds.
