Oh Lindsay, my first muse, still unmatched in her wild and playfully seductive modeling style. These shots are from 2014 and I'm fairly certain most of them are unreleased. I did a complete top to bottom reprocess of these, hand picking a set, using new software tech, shit that was unheard of in 2014. And, honestly, reliving what were some of the first huge steps in my early photography career. The last image is probably the biggest tell, especially for those of you who know Lindsay and I when we worked together for a popular gaming website, shooting video content by day and, by night, this. It was absolutely a fireable offense, but I was hungry to really start developing my skills, and Lindsay was hungry to create art. Ten years later and she still models for me, we actually have a shoot we're trying to setup in July. She's grown, she's been through a lot, she's had a lot of cats, but she's still got this magic about her that is indescribable.

Now for some tech stuff - The reason I was disappointed with these pics at the time, I was using a technique where I would remove the lens from the camera body and tilt it around (later discovered this is called 'lens freaking' lol), obliterating the focus capability and forcing me to rely on almost pure luck. This technique is difficult to nail focus when the model is standing still, and Lindsay does not stand still. Lindsay is pure kinetic sexual energy and I was failing at keeping up. I didn't appreciate the energy in these pics and how they supercede the technical aspects and, honestly, added to the kinetic theme of the shoot itself.

I'm glad I stumbled across them again, though, this shoot day with her literally changed my damn life.
