I always agreed with Ariana about Zaheers philosophy. He’s an anarchist but I honestly believe the way he was talking about people coming together and what not he was going to come from a more radical leftist point of view. When he first started talking about his ideology it sounds reasonable but as soon as he says there should be no rules and people can do whatever the hell they want it’s like oh that’s bullshit. I honestly felt like they did that because he is the villain and they wanted to make a clear villain in this season I think if he wouldn’t have said he’s an anarchist he honestly would be an antihero. I can absolutely get behind tearing down all oppressive governments but I’m not gonna be for a system that says the most vulnerable will be left vulnerable. Not to go off topic but I felt like they did this in black panther. Killmonger sounds reasonable until he gets power and then he’s like Imma wage war on the world and this time the “Black people are gonna be on top. “ I think black panther did that just to make him like a clear villain because he was absolutely an antihero before He endorsed doing the same things that have been done to Africans. Great watch!

It's interesting how this show has tackled various political ideologies over its run. Season 1 was about enforced equality, something akin to 20th century communism, and libertarianism. Season 2 was about the perils of theocracy and the potential perils of capitalism and democracy. Season 3 focuses on monarchies and anarchism. And season 4 focuses on authoritarianism and fascism.
