One of my favorite theories (or one that make a lot of sense I guess) is that after Hama (Blood bending lady) broke out and did what ever all she did throughout the years is why the Fire Nation stopped taking water benders prisoner thus killing Katara and Sokkas mom.

I was waiting!!! This is my favorite episode of the show. I’ve watched it at least 20 times and every time without fail i get chills all over my body at the end with the pause and then Katara screaming “ME!!!” right before she nearly kills him. A masterpieceeee
