MI:II.....(strictly my humbled opinion) by far the worst one ^^^pretty sure this dude was saying the same thing They get better as they go from 3 Although, 3 is my favorite because of the villain, RIP Phillip Seymour Hoffman

Your comment of looking for twist results in you missing the twist reminded me of The Prestige. Excellent movie if you haven’t seen it.

Surprisingly, I found the focus on wigs and fashion quite fun. I always like your partnered reactions as the ability to bounce ideas and discussions off each other make it great to watch. Looking forward to the rest of the series as the franchise really takes more congruent and cohesive shape moving forward.

Worst one in the series, I always feel like skipping it when I do a marathon of the series, but can never quite do it lol, it's like you need this movie to be able to respect how much better the others are in the series.

If you guys had fun with this one, then you're really going to enjoy the others as their much better. A few notes though - 1. Tom Cruise is 5' 7", which is one the short end for actors, who are usually shorter than normal people for random reasons. 2. The doves/pigeons are a staple motif of John Woo, the director of this film, who has plenty of HK action flicks that are much better. 3. The wig issues are likely the difference between 2000 where a DVD would be only 480p to 1080 or even 4K Blu-Ray and streaming showing the seams.

I always thought this was the weakest of the series, tried to next level but over did it slightly. They definitely catch their stride though. Seeing Brendan Gleeson reminded me of Safe House. When this series is over, that night be a good stand alone.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but with the exceptiong of the last 2 (5 & 6) they have all been directed by someone different. This one is John Woo, hence, doves lol Last one was Brian De Palma Next one is JJ Abrahams, which is where we get Benji!! Benji and Luther are my favs!

I dont envy having to do this everyday as I think it makes you more jaded and critique things in a movie normal people who go to the movies and watch dont think about. I did enjoy and look forward to Anchorman II and The Equalizer if you havent seen those off camera.

Maple this is your lane. Cheesy but semi enjoyable movies that you can make fun of the whole time. You made me actually lol a handful of times 🤣
