Yes, the Mayor is voiced by legendary Chinese-American actor James Hong, who (amongst many, many roles) also voiced Chi-Fu in Mulan and played Lo Pan in Big Trouble in Little China. He also voiced one of the monks in Aang's flashback in episode 1x12, The Storm.

That is the guy from Mulan, and if you ever seen any of the Kung Fu Panda movies (which are all three phenomenal) he plays the dad, who is a goose! He is pretty famous actor and voice actor, I want to say...James Hong?

now that they’ve finished the whole thing, sub bending takes practice and aren’t immediately picked up by casual benders unless they come across a specific need or master it from someone else, so like metal bending, lightning bending, blood bending, vine/plant bending the water inside the plant, which is pretty close to bloodbending in a way, flight, lava bending, but y’all were pretty spot on early enough into the show to predict metal and bloodbending, y’all rock, and i always appreciate the takes y’all had, makes for great discussion of different possibilities that could happen, after watching the whole show with y’all it’s a great time rewatching it again.
