This was probably my favorite reaction of y’all’s. And that says something if you wormed your way invasively in my brain somehow.

I only got around to watching it now, great reaction. It is never explicitly stated but heavily implied that Sullivan is actually a closeted homosexual: 1. He uses lots of homophobic remarks throughout, often unpromted; 2. When the realtor asks him if he's married Sullivan says that he has a co-signer on the lease, at which points the realtor remarks "oh cool, you tend to have a house guest", making Sullivan visibly angry; 3. Similar reaction to a conversation with Captain Ellerby; 4. He has problems having sex with his girlfriend, which can also be attributed to his impotence (which is another theory as well); 5. Several times throughout the movie we can see Sullivan looking at a building with the golden dome (Boston's State House) with reverence in his eyes. That reverence both speaks to his aspirations, but also that golden dome looks a bit like... well, you know :D I'm sure there are more but those are the ones that are fairly on the nose.
