The reaction to Grace at the end is priceless XD.

We need more, their reactions to this are great, and they seem really invested. One of my fav reactions to follow along with on Diegesis since True Detective!

The first time I saw the ending of this episode. I yelled out "fuck Grace!". My whole house heard it. My mother's name is Grace. yikes

as someone from belfast my lord the northern irish accents are bad in this show, like really bad. But then again theyre bad in everything, legit never seen any of our accents portrayed even close to correct. The cadence is nowhere close nevermind our unique pronunciation of words.

2024-05-02 04:24:19 In hindsight, Freddie is one of the few people with true conviction in this show and he stood up against both the government and criminal corruption all around him. He and those around him were persecuted simply for trying to improve the working conditions for laborers. The scene where his friend gets beaten to death and Campbell thinks nothing of it is so sickening. It's also one of the first of many grim reminders of how the Shelby family plays with the lives of other people for their own means.

Peaky Blinders is dodgy for accents in general, largely because so many characters are played by actors who aren't from the place they're portraying. The use of Scottish accents later in the show is utterly terrible too. Not to mention them using the completely wrong language for the Roma for the first two seasons, using Romanian instead of Romani.
