Is there any chance part 2/2 can add extra sniper rifles to be found please? One if my favourite MCs is a sniper but there are limited weapons that fit the bill....

Do you have recommendations on a new sniper rifle? Right now, there are two -- Remington Model 700 and Springfield M1903. Are there better out there? I can ask my weapon sources if you're not sure.

SWS M24 (police version of 700), KNIGHT'S ARMAMENT COMPANY SR-25, SWS M21, HECKLER & KOCH PSG1, Dragunov SVD, Accuracy International AS50, Barrett M82 or M107 (Military). The last rifles listed are 50 Cal.

Make sure the flanking zombies are killed. Or have a good relationship with your pet (70+) and spend a turn bringing him up the hill.

At the caravan, select these options: 1. Survey the scene of the accident and the movement in the white sedan, ignoring anything else for now. 2. Shove him away. "What the hell? You almost killed me!" 3. If you like Brody from earlier established by him being your crush, he will come to apologize. 4. When he tries to apologize, choose "It's fine, Brody," I say and turn away from him. I have to admit, this rivalry I'm forming with Brody is kind of hot.

Hi Jim! I'm a HUGE fan of your games, and have been playing since the first parts of ZE were released. I'm happy to support your efforts! My question is regarding the "damage" and "defense" options in Part 1. Sometimes, even after repairing the damage that second morning, a zombie breaks in and resets the states to Damage - 3, Defense - 0. There is no further repair option, and building more fortifications doesn't raise defense or lower damage. It doesn't happen every game. Is this intentional or a glitch? If intentional, how do I avoid it?

Hi Annie. Thank you for the support. Glad you enjoy my games. When the zombie breaks in or other damage occurs in later chapters, the game checks your Crafting skill. Damage lowers depending on that skill. If your skill is low and your house sustained a lot of damage, it only lowers partly. Your house is so damaged, it will never be fully reparable.

That's odd. My Crafting skill is always at at least 70%. Is that not high enough?

He means based on your crafting skill the stronger and faster your defenses will be, you need to build defenses in order for that to work. Your skill alone doesn't stop any damage.

I DO build defenses. That’s why I think it’s a glitch. When I “rest for the evening” on the first night,my defense is never less than 5. And the zombie breaking in and ruining my house doesn’t happen every game.

When the zombie attacks, he immediately does 8 damage. If your home defense is 5, it soaks up 5 points, leaving 3. Depending on how you deal with him, he does 1-4 more damage. Let's say, damage is now 6 and you repair it. Depending on Crafting, your damage will drop from 6 to 0 (high Crafting), 3 (mid Crafting , around 45%), or 3 (low Crafting). Your home defense will be restored to 5 (high Crafting), 1 (mid Crafting , around 45%), or 0 (low Crafting). I don't think it's glitching but the factors are home defense and Crafting. In chapter 2, supplies are also factored in.

What I do is board everything up and block my doors and windows with metal at 70% crafting and never have an issue. Try that.

Tried it. Zombie still wrecks stuff. It doesn’t happen every game though. Sometimes there’s no zombie whatsoever. Is the zombie attack random?

No, the zombie attack is scripted. That is really strange, for me I kill the zombie before he causes any more damage. If it's still an issue try uninstalling and reinstalling.
