runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend! 👑✨🏃‍♀️ (Patreon)

** SUNDAY update - I'm going to be at MK briefly this am then Epcot for one last hurrah on Guardians before packing it in for the day - wearing black pants and the blue runDisney princess jacket from merch again - don't worry, I washed them yesterday 😆) . Hello, fellow Princess runners! I'm SO excited to see some (hopefully all??) of you at some point over the weekend. I wanted to make this dedicated post a touchstone for us to connect and where I can update you on possible places to catch me. Here's what I know so far:

- I am flying later in today (Wednesday, 2/21) and hoping to pop over to the Magic Kingdom to see the fireworks tonight. No official meetup, but I will be out and about, probably wearing the black Crowned Athletics sweats set I've been obsessed with lately (black with rainbow embroidery lettering) and shopBBBrooke hot pink sequin ears. 

- Our most official(ish) but still unofficial meetup - really more of a "come say hi if you want" - is tomorrow, Thursday, 2/22, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex where the runDisney expo is held. There is a Joffrey's kiosk at the end of the main promenade right between the State Farm Fieldhouse (where general bib pickup is) and the Athletic Center (where shirt pick-up and expo booths are). I've included a map here in case you're not familar with the complex. I'm aiming to be there between 9:30-10 AM, wearing my 2012 Princess Half "I Did It!" shirt (likely underneath a jacket 🥶) and light purple princess-themed shopBBBrooke ears with a sparkly purple bow. Come hang out, grab coffee if you like, and get a bracelet handmade by yours truly. This is seriously a no pressure situation for both you and me alike. If you just want to come grab a bracelet and a quick selfie, that's lovely. If you just want to wave from afar, that's ok, too! I'm not really certain where the rest of the day will take me at the moment, but it's possible I'll pop back to MK later in the day since it's likely I missed my chance at Tron already today and I have yet to try it out 🤦‍♀️ I'll be posting on Instagram in (more or less) real time if you want to keep up with me that way.

- On Friday (2/23) 5K day I'm planning to head to Epcot for the morning hours and then we'll see. As much as I'd like to go to the Crowned Athletics pop-up, that's a situation where my social anxiety peaks. Don't ask, it's not all that logical but when is anxiety logical anyway 🤪 I'll update on IG.

- I'm planning on spending the morning at Disney Springs after the 10K on Saturday (2/24). I will be in the line for Gideon's from 9 am until they open at 10. This is another great place to find me if you're around. Please don't hesitate to come say hello! I'll have bracelets if I missed you on expo day.

- I will be back at MK on Sunday (2/25), probably several hours after the half-marathon, so more like early afternoon. If anyone wants to meet by the castle to swap taking pics with medals, I am totally game for that! Let me know in the comments here and we'll work something out 🏰

- I am doing the yoga on Monday morning (2/26). I don't have a set plan for where I'm going to be. I tend to just go wherever the current takes me. But if you see me and want to grab a mat close by, that would be awesome! Or if you want someone to swap taking pics with, I'm game for that, too. I have to boogie right after to get to my flight, FYI, but I'd love to connect before the event starts if you spot me 🧘‍♀️

As with anytime you catch me out in the wild, If you see me and want to please don't hesitate to say hello! It seriously brings me SO much joy to connect with you in person. I know I talk about social issues I'm still dealing with, but for whatever reason I do not get at all nervous about meeting folks out and about.
