Weekly Update - July 10, 2023 (Patreon)

Hello, my friends! How’s everyone doing? I hope summer (or winter for my Australian friends) is treating you well. We had a great time last week with LOTS of family time, sunshine, and so much good food - the best combo! 👩‍👧‍👦☀️🍔 I hope you all had some beautiful moments last week!

Here’s what’s what this week in the WWC:

1. I’m wrapping up my May road trip with a travel vlog documenting my time in Southern Colorado. I camped out at an epic spot (another Hipcamp!) close to Great Sand Dunes National Park. It ended up being a very unusual time and I ultimately decided to share about it, because I think it’s important to review ways to be safe on the trail. This will make more sense once you see the video. Early access will be up for you on Wednesday 🥾
2. So many of you seemed to enjoy my chatty beverage station sort and tidy and there’s enough interest, so I decided to go ahead and share my junk drawer clean out with you this week. Sometimes you just need to clean something, you know? Apparently this is one of those times. Join me for this Friday’s community exclusive video and let’s tackle a trouble spot together 🧼
3. Every month I set aside 10% of my previous month’s earnings from Patreon to donate to charity. I draw randomly from a jar of community suggestions and this week we’re sending $518 to the Malala Fund. If there’s a charity you’d like me to add to our community jar, please let me know in the comments or send me a message. Let’s keep spreading the love! 💕
4. Just a friendly reminder that our monthly livestream is going to be later than usual this month. I’m still aiming for Sunday, July 30. More info on that later this month! I miss chatting with you and can’t wait to connect again 😌
