An Impromptu Update | November 30, 2022 (Patreon)

Well, friends...I said on Monday that I was 92.7% certain I would upload my public YouTube this week and the 7.3% won out in the 11th hour. I recognize this is the third time this fall I've decided to hold back on posting and there's something definitely going on there. I've been considering how I show up on my public social media platforms lately and doing some heart searching as I decide what, if any, changes I want to make moving forward. After a dozen years of experience as a content creator, I know I cannot show up online as I strive to - authentically and with purpose - while I am doing some serious internal shuffling, hence the three unplanned YouTube breaks this fall.

(That being said - I am not considering rebranding or leaving YouTube - in case you were wondering 😉 - just shifting what, where, and when I post publicly. I am very, very happy about the schedule we've got going here in the WWC and don't foresee any changes here except for the fun holiday additions in December🎄)

Anyway, I am still planning on sharing the YouTube video I'm postponing because I absolutely loved this unique Airbnb stay - such a neat spot! For both personal and logistical reasons, however, it makes sense to push it back a week as I consider what content I want to post on YouTube in the coming weeks and what is better suited for your eyes only (ie WWC exclusive content vs public on YouTube). I talk more in depth about this in the video above. I wanted to chat with you about this face to face (or rather, half of my face - sorry about that, I decided to film this video .2 seconds before I did and used my phone for convenience but had it turned around for better quality in the low light so I couldn't check if I was in frame. Oops! 😅 ) as I feel like I can communicate more authentically via video as opposed to just text.

And I know you're all super wonderfully supportive friends, but I promise I don't need any pumping up. I'm very secure in my decision to postpone. I'm just sharing where I'm at with you right now, because we're tight like that in the WWC. And yes, I did just date myself by saying "tight like that" 😜 I'm excited to share the craft nook tour with you in our exclusive video on Friday and even more pumped about Vlogmas starting next week!
