Weekly Update | May 9, 2022 (Patreon)

Good morning, Wonderers! I hope you all had a beautiful weekend. I’m so excited that the weather here has officially jumped from limbo winter to summer (we Chicagoans are used to not getting much, if any, spring 😜). Time to break out the swimsuits! Which reminds me, I need to find a new suit. I actually left my favorite one that I bought at J. Crew 12+ years ago at Disney World and it was never found 😕 Anyone have a good rec? 🩱

Here’s a look at the week ahead in the WWC:

1. I decided to take a social media break. I’m not currently posting on Instagram and there will be no YouTube video this week. I find it’s really important for me to take breaks like this every once in awhile and it felt like the right time. I don’t really have a plan on when I’ll return to posting on Instagram. I’ve been enjoying a few days off. I will for sure be back with a new YouTube video next week. This means there will be no early access video for you on Wednesday. But I will still be here! I check in with the WWC many times throughout the day to reply to comments and messages. It brings me so much joy to connect with you. So even though I am off social media right now, I’m still very much present here.
2. There will still be a WWC exclusive video this Friday. We’re jumping back into Spring Refresh with the office closet overhaul. Oof, that one was a doozy! But I got it done and am so excited to share it with you. I hope all of your various projects are going well. Please continue to share about them with me if you’d like. I so enjoy hearing about them!
3. I’ve decided to host our May livestream this week. I’m thinking Wednesday or Thursday. I will post a poll on the community either later today or tomorrow with several times and we’ll see what the majority prefers. I am excited to connect live with you this week!

If you watched the video above you saw where I got totally distracted by noticing my air plant is blooming. I’ve had air plants for years and this is the first one to ever bloom! It’s also the first one I’ve kept in glass, which I’m thinking might have something to do with it. Exciting times here at With Wonder headquarters 😆

Like I said, while I am off social media this week, I am very much still present here. It brings me so much joy every day to connect with you. I think it’s really telling that even when I need a breather from the internet, I continue to look forward to connecting with you. The WWC is my happy place! I am so grateful for each and every one of you. Your presence here matters! I am so, so happy you are here 🥰
