 I can’t believe I have to make this announcement, but it’s been brought to my attention that screenshots taken from within the WWC are circulating certain gossip sites and certain individuals are then using the information contained in those screenshots to single out community members and harass them on their personal social media accounts 🤯

I am flabbergasted, horrified, and truthfully so upset about this. It’s one thing to be an online creator and have these things happen to me. Sadly, it comes with the territory (although I firmly believe it shouldn’t have to!). But for this to extend to my community members as well? HELL NO.

There is a fairly simple way to protect your identity on this platform, which I share in the video above. Unfortunately, I don’t think you can fix this from the app, but if you login through a browser on a computer and click on the small circle in the top righthand corner of the site, you’ll see a drop down menu. Select “My Profile Settings” - this takes you to a page where you can change your display name. I recommend just using your first name or something else that does not include your last name or is similar to your social media profiles. I also recommend changing your Patreon profile pic to be something that is different from your social media profiles. This only takes a few seconds and is the best way to protect your identity.

I am so very sorry if something like this has happened to you. It’s such a shame that we live in a world where people think that kind of intrusion is justifiable. It is absolutely not ok.
