Weekly Update | July 8, 2024 (Patreon)

Helloooooooo! (La la laaaaaa 😉 iykyk) How’s it going? I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and fun fourth if you celebrate. We’ve been enjoying the beautiful weather together around here. Think slip & slide fun, grilling out, and local summer festivals. I’m so grateful for all of these moments with my kiddos. I hope you got to spend some time with the people you love too 💕

Here’s what’s what this week in the WWC:

• Back to YouTube this week and kicking off my summer in California series with a travel vlog to Yosemite last month. Wow, what a spectacularly beautiful place! Everywhere you look just takes your breath away. I share my 3-night journey including hikes and camping/staying in different spots in the valley. It’s a long one, so grab something to snack on and settle in! Early access is available to you Wednesday, 24 hours in advance of the public drop on YouTube, as always ⛰️

• Let the vlogs continue! I’m leaning towards having July be an all vlog month (Vluly, anyone? 😜) for our community exclusive vids, but we’ll see what shakes out. This week I’m prepping/shopping for some home projects and thought I’d bring you along. Check back Friday for the vlog! 🔨

• Every month I set aside 10% of my previous month’s earnings to donate to a charity that I draw from a jar of community suggestions. This month we sent $488 (plus a bit extra) to Spokane Fantasy Flight. If you have a charity in mind you’d like me to add to the jar please leave it in a comment ❤️

• I am opening up a couple of chat rooms here in the WWC. One is a general chat room for anyone who wants to, you know, chat and the other is specifically for folks coming to the runDisney DL Halloween Half Marathon weekend. It looks like we’ve got a good group to go to brunch on Saturday, September 7 in Downtown Disney. I just need a final headcount so I can make sure to get a reservation in a few days to accommodate everyone. We’ll also use that space from now until and through the event to chat about plans, so please keep an eye out if you’re interested. With any of the chat rooms on Patreon, you can see the general community guidelines. Also, please do NOT share any personal/private information there as everyone can see it. I’m excited to have another means of connecting with you all in the WWC and will do my best to keep current with the chats! 😁
