New Patreon Sales tax thing (Patreon)

Apparently starting like June 1st peeps who are patrons and receiving some kind of digital or physical good have to pay a sales tax on their patronage. Sounds fishy to me, but apparently it's required by law for patreon. (seems more like peeps are trying to grab money wherever they can due to the economic downturn or something, but whatever.)

Although I don't really feel that the stuff I put on here falls into that category I might have to make some edits to how I word the 1 tier I have on here since I felt this is more of a support/tip patreon and the things I uploaded were just frosting on the cake. 

If anyone has any advice or thoughts on how I  should go about it let me know. I've seen one person considering just uploading anything they have for patreon for the public from the get go so I might do that? Not sure how my website works for this.
