Hello! Today is my birthday, and I wanted to bring my favorite Brazilian foods as a gift! My country's cuisine is very rich and full of delicious dishes, but I believe that these are some of the most famous. And forgive me for the terrible English! LOL
Pão de queijo can be literally translated as cheese bread. Just EAT! It's the Paradise!
Feijoada is a dish made of black beans with various types of meat.
Coxinha is a snack made with dough of wheat flour and chicken broth, stuffed with chicken meat, cheese... or anything else. There are coxinhas of all flavors in Brazil.
Brigadeiro is a sweet made with condensed milk, powdered chocolate and butter, rolled up and covered with granulated chocolate. Very common at birthday parties, as well as Beijinho, this white sweet that takes grated coconut instead of chocolate.
And finally, the Pastel de Carne. Made with an envelope-shaped dough and stuffed with ground beef. It 's usually sold at fairs, but can be found in any bakery here.
