Dear John is one of my favorite of taylors songs to scream in the car and I can’t believe how low you rated it, but that’s okay I totally respect it haha She is still with the same band and they play long live on the eras tour where the whole band stand in the front with her and it’s really cute Also fun fact taylor lautner is now married to another taylor and she changed her last name so they are both taylor lautner which is funny I understand that the songwriting on songs like mean sounds a bit childish but imo that is what’s needed in those songs, she can’t be too dramatic because it’s just about people always bitter and mean but not really evil or anything, the song is fun and not too serious which is why the lyrics are also very much unserious It’s fine if you want to do red in two parts, I honestly would haha, and if you do that I think it’s a good idea to do the standard edition first which ends with begin again and the rest later

Also Taylor’s lyrics mean so much because of how relatable they are and how good she is at storytelling. Although she does have songs with fancy English it’s also sometimes the simple storytelling that gets us to put ourselves in her shoes!

I believe Taylor has had a lot of her band with her for a long time. I know specifically her lead guitarist has been with her since the beginning of her career! She gives a really beautiful live performance of it along with her band at the eras tour that always makes me cry!

I think it was so cringey that Taylor just never acknowledged it. Also, only request for Red TV, don’t rate the song Ronan. You can and should listen to it, but don’t give it a rating.

I’m so excited for the next one, Red is my favorite TS album. Takes me back to my college days. Very nostalgic for me. I had a CD of this album in my car and listened to it on repeat every time I drove anywhere. I genuinely liked every song on the album, which is rare.
