I love this episode. The Jess and Rory stuff is great and the Emily/Richard/Lorelai stuff is great as well. It was so sweet that they were tearing up when she graduated.

they’ve mentioned Lorelai going to college since the pilot episode haha not a super big storyline they just mention it in passing here or there or when she went on a date with a guy from her college and found out he lived with his parents and was younger than she thought and they all met at Luke’s diner and Luke teased her for dating a child lol

Stars Hollow in the show is in Connecticut specifically Emily and Richard live in the real city of Hartford Connecticut and Rory and Lorelai are 30 minute drive from Hartford they say.
