Rebecca didn't ask "Am I a good person now as a vampire, which is a predatory species with a natural urge to kill, not at all a human" she asked "Would I make a good human, something I currently am not" One of the main frustrating things about this show is that even though they acknowledge vampires are not human, they are predators that hunt/eat humans, the human characters act like the non-human characters should be held to the same human laws and standards while simultaneously acting superior to the non-human "monsters"
