Are you for real suprised that people hate Jess? They can love Milo and still recognise that so far Jess has been nothing but trouble. Extremely arrogant and rude to everyone. Besides Rory he's behaved awfull and ungreatfull. Finally he's doing the bare minimum for Luke - but only because of Rory... Hopefully he'll grow up and change. We'll have to wait and see. So far Rory seems to be a good influence on him, so maybe there's hope?

Yeah, get what you're saying, I meant more that he adds a lot to the show, and honestly Lorelai can be really rude to people too so I thought that was kind of the vibe people had with most the characters in the show (as in most of them are rude to be honest aha, love them all though)

The last two episodes of this season are so good, and then season 3 is probably my favourite of all seasons, although season 2 is a close second! Seems like most people either love Jess or hate Jess with no in-between. I know I'm looking at it from the perspective of someone who's seen his whole ark, but I'm pretty sure I loved Jess from the start even the first time I watched it 🤷‍♀️ I enjoy his sarcasm and wit and obvious chemistry with Rory. And I think his anger and frustration is understandable and relatable for a teenager in his circumstances. The fact he's actually so much like Lorelei makes her hating him so ironic. They even made the same joke about burning the house down to get rid of the curry smell a couple of eps back!
