Not to be too negative bc I understand and it’s realistic and I do love Richard (not in this ep though lol) but Dang, as a disabled person Richards speech at the end was a little.. “ouch” lol saying he was only an upstanding, worthy person in society when he was working and now he’s “an annoyance and a burden.” Something that disabled people still get called regularly in society. A lot of People only respect disabled people who can still work and “contribute to society” and not the ones who physically cannot. I’m one who physically cannot sadly lol but these feelings are something most people go through at some point in their life because it’s so ingrained in us to feel that way.
