What Julian doesn't understand is that while he is trying to make sure Alex fire doesn't burn out, at the same time he is killing Brooke's fire. She's losing her spark with the anxiety and insecurities he is affecting on her. Like I know he's not Lucas and so does Brooke but it's so hard to see the same cycle happening again where the boy she's with is trying to save another girl. And he is too blind from his saving to understand brooke fully. He instantly gets mad or annoyed when she tried to express her feelings of being scared in a three way relationship once again. So he's killing her spark rn while trying to save Alex's spark. S7 Julian is my least. Like we get it, you're a savior but dude. You're so hotheaded and determined for Alex that you're not realizing it's ruining your relationship. I get he feels guilty cuz Alex tried to hurt herself but at the same time why do3snt he asked Brooke to join w him to help her? He never did that. It would've made it more easier in my opinion if he communicated more to her about his intentions and have her help Alex with him but instead it all started with him spending nights with Alex working and allowing her to flirt on him and keeping Alex's mistakes a secret aka stripping naked in her hotel room in front of him. That right there was the spark in Brooke's frustration and insecurities and anxiety. He continues to let Alex get attach cuz he doesn't force the boundaries on her, he laughs or smiles when she makes jokes about s3x or flirtation. He annoys me this season, I can't stand his one sided mind rn cuz he's breaking Brooke. He doesn't get where Brooke is coming from and continues to assume it's her pushing him away while she's actually trying to understand his intentions and why he's doing this and he only seees it as "omg she thinks I'm Lucas" well boy if you're telling her half the story like Lucas did then yeah you're kind acting like him without the cheating
