When This Is Us revealed that Nicky was still alive, I was very cautious as I didn't want it to be some dramatic ridiculous storyline - and he has ended up being one of my favourites with amazing arcs. I definitely was a bit cautious seeing them revive Randall's bio mum, but I decided to trust the show as they hadn't done me wrong before! I'm so keen to see your reactions to the rest of this season.

Also, regarding Jack - I always wondered what the show would be like if he hadn't died, but honestly there wouldn't be a show without it. Season 1 and 2 especially revolve around his death and the aftermath, and all of the characters we know and love are shaped and created by the fallout. Randall never would have met Beth, Kate never would have met Toby, etc. All of the character development and storylines from the whole show would change. It's heartbreaking because I love Jack so much and wish he was still around but also know that without his death this show couldn't exist the way it does. God these writers just destroy me hahaha
