Balazs Foldes

Yeah, I think Starlight killed the guy. She threw him, he fall unconscious. She checked her pulse, then did not do anything - if he was alive, she would have tried and stabilized him. He must have been dead. I guess it's difficult to see how one acts under shock. Even someone like Starlight. I had (luckily) very few situations in my life when I went through real shock. When my father died (heartattack, at home, almost 20 years ago), was probably the closest. And I totally did not feel or react in any way I would have imagined based on movies. There was no overwhelming shock, sadness, anger. No crying NOOO, not crying, or anything. Just trying to understand what's happening, and coming up with a plan. All very practical, what should I do next, whom to call, how to tell whom. I just try to explain, Starlight going into commando mode, not feeling real stricken can probably be pretty close to a version of realty. She realised what she had done, and she just felt angry. Angry with the stupid guy (why did he have to pull a gun?), with Butcher (why couldn't Butcher keep back?), with god, destiny, whatever. I guess it's a process of Butcher and Starlight becoming a little more alike. She becoming more hardened and cynical, him becoming a little more human. Hughie gets interresting effects on people.

I always thought Annie ended up killing that guy on the side of the road, but I don't know, maybe he was just almost dead and there was no hope so they'd just ditched him? It was an accident on her part, yeah, but she definitely didn't react the way you'd think she would. It seemed like she was more frustrated with Butcher for escalating the situation than anything else, but she also said how she's been growing more and more desensitized when it comes to collateral damage when they were in the car, so that explains that. LOVE that hospital scene where Butcher and Annie are bonding over Hughie. Butcher inherently just doesn't trust any Supe, let alone someone from the Seven, but I think after seeing how much she does genuinely care about Hughie, he's like, "ugh, okay, I guess I won't try and kill her anymore." 😂😂 I feel like the two of them only somewhat tolerate the other now for Hughie's sake, which makes them a fun pairing to watch.

Yeah I was confused with how that scene was put together it wasn't very clear, but a good way with comparing it to shock for sure, sorry to hear about you Father, can't even imagine what a situation like that is like so I don't really have an understanding of what utter shock is like when it comes to death of someone that close to you.

Yeah I'm very confused with how they handled that situation, not that she ended up killing him(maybe) but her reaction to it was so unlike her, I don't think her character has been built to a point where her emotion would be completely turned off for having just killed an innocent man?
