To be honest this is more bc of how you so strongly disagree (and overreacting ?) with basic toughts that Monica has sometimes that makes us react. You can have difficulties to understand her this is not a problem, but your reaction often looks like she is crazy out of her mind lol

That's fair, I don't mean for it to come across as overreacting as I really don't like when I see other people do that, so apologies if it comes off that way. She does annoy me at time for sure but I never have an issue with patrons / people on youtube disagreeing with me / sharing their thought, I actually really like how respectful in the Friends community are with sharing their thoughts on the show

So you are dissing Monica for something she is feeling about a situation which you yourself have never been on, while also being a guy. A feeling that she almost immediately goes and communicates it with her fiancee and seems to have solved by the end of the episode (a bit easily, but it's a sitcom, what can you do). Yeah... i'd say you're overreacting a bit... :-)

While also being a guy? What does being a guy have to do with this? These are feelings that can be experienced regardless if you are a man or a woman. However, i agree with Joe here. I would have undesrtood this all concept if Monica was getting married at 18 or at early twenties, also in a rushed kind of way... but come on she always dreamed of the marital life, and this was a woman who as soon as she broke up with Richard wanted to go to a sperm bank to have a kid, acting like she was almost forty and that was the only hope she had left to have a child because it was already to late for her. I mean give me a break, don't tell me that she wasn't acting completely crazy in that episode, because she totally was. I'm not saying that these type of toughts and feelings don't come back once in a while, while being in a long term relationship, but they should be treated as fleeting thoughts, like "eh, what you gonna do about it, it is what it is". She was kinda "panicking" instead, like it was a serious deal, and i know that you can't be mad or judge that much if she couldn't control what was going on in her head, of course, but yeah, for Monica it was kinda out of the blue and i just wished a more relatable or concret problem more suitable for their age. I mean yes, first kisses and the first period of passion is good, but that also implies that you have to go through the all process of working to build a strong relationship, and you may not click with that person as stronly as you did with the previous one. It's just not worth keep thinking about it, especially if you already found the one.

So Yeah... Monica went through your logic during the episode and with the help of what Chandler said, came to the same conclusion. Glad we cleared this out. Oh and the while being a guy comment was meant to signify, that at some points, for some subjects, men (in general) react differently than women (in general), so i felt it wasn't fair for Joe to diss her for something she felt, in a situation Joe has never been in, and ALSO even if he had been in that situation, men and women (in general) react differently to situations such as this.

Well yeah exactly, men in general are the ones who tend to get second thoughts or cold feet before getting married, at least a bit more than women. It was just a form of cold feet by Monica, and it is fine by itself, but as i said, i would have personally preferred a more interesting or "mature" subplot than " oh my god i would never be able to kiss another guy anymore". Take Rachel for example, when she turned 30 and broke up with Tag, she did it because she wanted serious commitment as she pointed out. She wants the next guy who kisses and fall in love with be the last one, understandably so, exactly the oppoite situation of the feeling Monica had this episode. A craving the when you start to turn 30 and more all men and women naturally tend to have (more women than men), Monica more so than any other character of friends as constantly shown. That is way it just felt out of character by her. Either way, it was a different side of Monica that we saw, it's fine i guess and it was resolved so who cares.
