My favorite quotes about Gilmore Girls is from the lead actress and she said “when fans come up to me and tell me how much the show means to them it’s because either they had a mother/daughter relationship like Rory and Lorelei OR they desperately wanted that closeness with their mom” I completely agree. I lost my mom at 15 and bc of her addiction I wasn’t close with her for the last 4-5 years of her life. I so wish I had Lorelei as a mom
