The fact that Deb says about how she hasn't seen Nathan smile for ages and all that, and then actively tries to ruin that for him is horrible to me. I can understand her being sceptical about the marriage, but to actively try to get her sons heart broken and destroy that is just awful. Having concerns is perfectly fine, as they ARE young and it's risky. But all she has to do is be supportive. Both Nathan and Haley clearly wanted her in their lives. Haley went out of her way to be nice to her, went all the way over to her house and tried to talk to her and was nice and invited her to the party. Deb could still be in her sons life, but she has to accept that he's married, and that he's grown up. I adore the moments between Lucas and Nathan. Always will. I just love them so much! And yeah, Lucas calling Nathan his brother is my favourite thing! And Naley is adorable! One of my favourite ships EVER. <333 And Haley standing up to Deb is great. And the fact that Nathan stands by her, doesn't try to comfort his Mum through it, or tell Haley to back off or anything. He's with his wife 100% and it's so sweet. <3

Haha I loved your reactions to the weirdly edited parts of this episode. I hadn’t really noticed them before but you made me laugh out loud. I’ve always felt that the first part of season 2 is kind of meh, and I think it’s because they’re trying to find the tone of the show. It changes a bit from the first season I think, it gets heavier on the drama AND heavier on the humor/laughs. Season 2 has some really important moments for the show as a whole though and I think it gets a lot better later in the season. But I might be biased as this is my all time favorite show. Love your reactions!
