I feel like the Brittany story line has taken at least a few years off your life expectancy, the look of dread every time she has screen time is hilarious 😂

Hey, I posted this the other day on episode 21 but it seemed to be deleted. I’m just trying to post it again. As I have been rewatching the show it is just something that has been nagging at me and not directed towards your reactions at all. I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same… Sorry for the length. Glee lost quality as it went on, but there is one criticism of the new glee kids I never totally understand: that they are more underdeveloped than the original class. Most of the characters on Glee were underdeveloped. Most of the characters' storylines were quickly resolved and few and far between unless you were one of the lucky few. Finn, Rachel, Quinn, Kurt, and towards season 3, Santana carried most of the storylines on the show. The new glee students were given the same amount of background, if not more than, someone like Artie or Tina. Within the first 5 episodes of season 4, which was his first, we knew that Jake was a trained dancer raised by a single mother whose father had walked out. We knew he struggled with anger and having a mature relationship with another person. Contrast that with what we knew about Artie by the end of season 3. Jake also underwent a fair amount of growth. By the end of the season, he was building a relationship with his brother, in a committed romantic relationship with Marley, and dedicated to the glee club. While they didn't get as much development as a character Rachel or Finn, those characters also haven’t left the show and are still the leads. The new kids are a part of the ensemble and get the same attention as the rest. Glee season 4 has some problems, but I never really felt that the development of the four new characters was a huge one.

Thank you for your reactions! I love your tier list and can't wait until you start season 5.

In my opinion people like the first 3 seasons, well mostly 2 and 3 because they were consistently good throughout the seasons. And season 4 only had episodes that stood out like the break up and Mr. Shues wedding, while the other episodes were good or ok.

Once you finish a few tv shows, I would really suggest you react to some of the arrowverse, shows like Stargirl, Arrow, and Flash.

Talia

He already has. He liked arrow seasons 1 and 2 but he disliked season 3 and really hated flash season 1. So he quit on the arrowverse

Since Britt is my comfort character it causes me pain to see you hate her lmao but it doesn’t ruin it for me since people always have different favs etc. I feel that way about kurt for example. I wish more people in this fandom (especially glee stan twitter) could accept that everyone’s comfort characters/faves are different and that it shouldn’t ruin them for you personally.
