Hate to see you cry although I was the same when I first watched this episode, it’s pretty scary to think about the reality of it in American schools.

this episode was an emotional journey i cried when i first watched it and cried again watching with you, i did like how they kind of went back to normal as if nothing happens, cause that just reality, when this happens people just act like it was nothing and that's mostly because its a regular thing nowadays which is so sad xx oh just a little fact Brittney was supposed to be shot in this episode and killed but they decided not to do it xx

It's utterly unsettling that this aired in 2013 in response to Sandy Hook, and years later is arguably even more relevant in the United States. Viewing this episode a second time way down the road when I'm about to turn 30 and delaying having a child due to the pandemic response has given it a whole new perspective for me personally on top of their chilling portrayal. Glee tackled the topic well. Students should not be carrying this avoidable burden with them. Ashamed to be an american.

Wow! Love this reaction! One of my favorites! I love how you love this show with all its faults and crazy plot lines!!

This aired right after an elementary school shooting here in America. They dedicated the episode to the children and teachers who lost their lives. It’s terrible that kids have to fear that everyday. Never knowing if it can happen..

i think some people had a problem with them going back to “normal” but that’s really how it is... it’s sad that it’s normalized here

Conundrum

They missed an opportunity here. A shooting like that would be breaking news. Kurt and Rachel could have shown the fear parents and family experience. Not knowing if your loved ones are alive or dead.
