My favourite episode of the entire show. I doubt they'll ever top it. If someone told me in Season 1 that by the end of Season 4 my favourite characters would be Carl and Mickey, I would've thought they were insane!

“Ian, what you and I have makes me free. Not what these assholes know.” This is one of my favorite Mickey lines. He very obviously loves Ian and wishes he could be himself (which I’m happy he will finally be able to now). Like you said it’s just a very tricky situation. Mickey has lived in fear his entire life so he’s not a coward for being scared that he’ll LITERALLY be killed by his father. But you also can’t be mad at Ian for wanting to have a relationship where he doesn’t have to hide.

Just wanted to say that Cameron the actor that plays Ian, thought that Mickey and Ian deserved a drink after Mickeys coming out. So he brought the pocket flask to ad in the scene. Also the kiss on the head was improvised.

When you realize that Carl smelled Bonnie's hair because of what Ian said about liking how Mickey smells :)
