Another great reaction!!! Oh man, you're nearly at the end of the season, it's so great that you enjoyed the season so much. Lots of people say s1 is the weaker one, but I honestly love it and I think that you're definitely going to enjoy the rest of it in the next episode. I love how this episode is sort of of a continuation of episode 8 for the Morgana and Uther's conflicted relationship. Also the parallel of Merlin having to chose to let someone die again (Mordred and Uther). The scene when Uther apologized to Morgana and admitted he was wrong, is such a well acted scene, Katie and Anthony portray the relationship so well, and the hug is so beautifully filmed, with the music and the lighting... Just perfect! The show has such a cinematic feel to it at times and this is definitely one of them. Merlin using the staff again is also pretty cool and I loved that he kept it (even if he should hide it better and not run in the Castle with it...). Morgana and Gwen's scenes are also really good and after Uther and Morgana, they're the second best thing of this episode, i just love their relationship. You are so right about the dragon, the more we see of him and the more you understand he's manipulative and selfish character, John Hurt definitely played that really well. I really can't wait for you to see the finale.
