Hi, Joe great reaction again!! This episode really ruined me! I totally agree with you on the last scene but I also respect Skam France for changing it because it's different everywhere and people will have different reactions. The boy group really hasn't proved them selfs so far, hopefully, they can turn it around. I love seeing Lucas with the girls, seeing him smile is a blessing. Lucas seems so much more hurt and alone than the OG and Skam Italia, he literally was on the verge of tears in every clip we saw. The clip with Lucas and Manon was heartbreaking! A brilliant touch I think from the writers/creators. Finally, I'm sick of Lucas being upset, I cannot wait to see what they do next. They have really stepped up this season :)

And BOOOOOOOOM! Def NOT the reaction most of us expected at all but haha what a great twist it was to one of the key moments in all skam stories. It seems that Mnsr.David has at least as much a fondness of evil twists&turns as Julie Andem.

And btw-the character which is for the time being is not mentioned by his real name, doesn`t seem shocked or anything by Lucas being gay.Kinda more dissapointed by the lack of trust. As he has on several occasions reached out to him....

The character of Jonas/Yann has one fucking job, he serves little purpose in the whole series... he smokes weed, he makes his girlfriend paranoid, then he TELLS HIS GAY BEST FRIEND EVERYTHING IS COOL... that's his ONLY PURPOSE in the show and he fucked it up. yes it's realistic... people have varying reactions, sometimes they suck like Yann's... but THIS character... that was his whole reason for existing in this show.

I couldn't imagine then trying to go to the other two friends to tell them... why would he?

i lowkey cried....Yann just made me really caught off guard. I thought he would've been a lot more caring and soft towards Lucas. My heart really hurt for Lucas this episode. He seemed really alone and lost and scared. The girls are really nice but i think they're just not what he needs right now? He really wanted support from his closer male friends but this season might go two ways 1) he no longer stays friends with the guy group and makes new friends along with the girl group or 2) it shows the progression of friends learning to grow and accept their friends being gay. And it sucks, I wish people could just accept, but people do learn and change and accept people that are 'different'. The Yann reaction was my biggest fear, as I am lesbian, and it isn't even harsh. It's a friend that just 'needs time', but that's the scary part. You just really hope your friend will just smile and hug you, but ... it didn't happen here and that really hurt me. I wanna give Lucas a hug...this reaction was what i kind of expected in og skam. I felt like in og skam, everyone was really accepting right away and there wasn't that much homophobia, aside from inner homophobia. But this show is showing that more. Idk if Yann's reaction was cause of that, but it just felt that way right after Lucas said he has thought of him sexually or whatever. What hurt most to me is that Yann literally told him so many times to talk to him if he needs someone to talk to. Then Lucas talks to him AND HE WALKS AWAY. Like Lucas poured his heart out, gave many reasons why he's hurting inside, and Yann selfishly walked away -- fuck him. And agreed, Chloe has EVERY RIGHT to be upset that he led her on. Even if he wasn't gay. He did lead her on, clearly. And wasted her time and made her (?) fall for him. BUT she is reacting horribly and has no right to tell anyone his business. What she said here made me really upset. Lucas seems SO MUCH more emotional and hurt and heartbroken. His reaction with Eliott in the cafeteria broke my little heart. His 'okay' after Yann talked to him in the hallway made me tear up. Ugh, this show. My favorite scene was Manon and Lucas crying, that was what really made me get emotional this episode. That scene was so heartbreaking. I feel like they might switch and have Lucas possibly attempt suicide but idk if it'll go that far to change. This episode sucked and just made me depressed, it's not fair. I need happiness again *watches episode 5*

i feel like the guy with glasses would be nice to him, idk. He seems very sympathetic and understanding. But i thought Yann would've hugged him, so i've been wrong before lol.
