Adam is Magic

Mona was killed off because Janel Parrish was busy with Dancing with the Stars at the time.

Дарко Димковски

they do not have a haloween special this season, its just a christmas special and thats episode 5x13.

Дарко Димковски

Yeah you can react to the october special its behind the scenes talk with the cast and crew and its interesting

Olivia

Season 3 to Season 6 is Senior year. Halloween already passed in season 3, season 4 and 5 so far have been November :)

Olivia

if they had a Halloween Special in season 4 5 and 6 it wouldn't make sense because Halloween already passed that year in season 3.

Alex Gonzalez

Don’t think it’s necessary to react to that October special.

Adam is Magic

It's not but it's an interesting one he can do as exclusive patreon content.

Adam is Magic

I think at this point Joe's frustration with how the show gets so repetitive and dragged out with it's plotlines that it's overwhelming his thoughts. Because to be honest these episodes aren't as bad as he says it is. The episodes are uneven and ridiculous but, not terrible.

TheTrophyMunchers

They’re by them self great actually. But yes, linked to how repetitive it is, it makes it worse. Feel like I’m seeing the same thing

C Note

Not gonna lie I think you hated on this episode too much, I get you’re frustrated.

If you think this episode is ridiculous, think about the timeline Everything that happened in 3B-5A took place within a month aka four weeks. Everything that happened in 2B-5A took place in 2011. I agree with you that this episode had potential but it was executed poorly. The acting, Toby graduating from the Police Academy in a week, and never ending November.

Дарко Димковски

The most stupid think in whole of PLL history is their timeline that doesnt make sense, and then all the plotholes that occur in season 6 that are so frustrating.

Дарко Димковски

Joe get frustrating watching each episode in a few days span, just imagine how we were frustrated watching this 7 years hahah

I've been tempted to say this for a while. I like to split the pll fandom and viewership into two parts. You have the part that's there for the drama, romance, more character driven aspects, and then you have the people who are there for the mystery. Then you have all the levels that fall between that. I'd say I care more for the drama but I'm still interested in the mystery. You, fairly are not interested in the mystery at all. The thing is, that's sort of a hard thing to balance. I know there were entire blogs, multiple blogs, and youtube channels and everything, that were just completely dedicated to the pll mystery. I imagine they live for these types of episodes, even if they seem repetitive. They put together their theories, spend the whole season collecting each little clue that the show gives, and then are proven right or wrong or close or something. I know it can be annoying and frustrtaing, and I do thing it's repetitive at times, but I think you have to remember those people who are only here for the mystery and probably don't even mind it being dragged out as long as it is. Anyway, that's all. I don't think the episode was the best but I don't think it was all that bad either.

Adam is Magic

Joe's frustrated now think what happens when watches seasons 6B and 7 the actual dragged out and boring episodes. These episodes are masterpieces compared to those.

Adam is Magic

I notice when I watch shows as a binge watch back to back without waiting versus as they air and I can see how see all the tricks writers do. Plot twists, cliffhangers, etc. that are used to draw people in even if they drag out plotlines.

Adam is Magic

I myself is in-between I was originally drawn by the mystery so I watched it for that but, I didn't obsesses over theories and clues. But at the same time realizes how overly complicated PLL becomes so I enjoy it for what it is: a soapy mystery show. I do enjoy some of the soapy elements though and the characters even though they can be so stupid at times. Whenever I watch a show a see how plotlines will play out whether or not end up well. That said I still can frustrated and annoyed sometimes.

Fran

PLL is a show that gets worse and worse the more you rewatch it. It’s sooo repetitive and sadly fan theories are always better :/

Fran

In my opinion, there are only TWO episodes from the entire rest of the seasons that are above an 8.5/10 to me - and they’re s5 finale and s6 e1...this show did not have a good enough premise, or good enough writers, so go on for 7 long seasons.

Adam is Magic

I think it's also that they kept adding more clues, mysteries, and secrets without tying up enough loose ends. It makes the show overly complicated.

Gracie

The October special is actually pretty cool. They have a lot of interviews with the cast, writers, and crew.

Angie

damn. i remember i LOVED this episode when it came out. I haven't rewatched it since the first time and i don't remember it being this cringey. I just remember i cried when mona died because it was such a big shock and she was my all time favorite character :( and no i didn't give af about bethany. i always forgot who bethany even was. then again, i never care about the actual mystery in teen dramas (teen wolf, riverdale, pretty little liars etc). I just care about the characters. Unless a character i love died, like mona, i didnt care about the mystery.

jillian

this really wasnt as bad as u made it seem. i think if u just watch with an open mind and not so much on the specifics of every line in every scene you may enjoy it.

jillian

jesus christ idk why you hated this episode so much. you make it so much worse for yourself. just enjoy it for what it is dont just shit on it for the fun of it
