I´m so excited for ep 16, these two episodes really got me into The Originals. It´s just such a good show. And I absolutely love how they compared Klaus and Mikael. And how I would explain why Mikael didn't immidietely kill Klaus was because he has been hunting him for so long so you kind of want to make it worth your while and let him go out with a bang. Torment him first, erase him so he has nothing left and then kill him once and for all. I think that´s Mikael´s logic behind it. I hope you post ep 16 next week because I can´t wait. Not saying it´s the best episode ever so you´ll get your hopes up and be disappointed (I loved ep 14 for example which you didn't) but it´s one of my personal favorites which is why I´m so excited

Episode 16 is one of my favourites - although in some ways it’s pretty slow, the family aspect of the show is my favourite part and so to see it come to a climax was really interesting for me.

Also as for mikael, don’t forget he’s a child-beating narcissist lol. The enjoyment for him is in seeing Nik suffer, rather than his actual death. He wants to humiliate him like he did when klaus was a child. Lastly - klaus is insanely complex. I know some people just think he’s a dick and I get that, but I’ve watch the Orignals over 4 times and every time I watch it I understand him a little more. You just need to be patient with his development (especially in season 2) because the end result is wayyyy worth it.
