Uh why is everyone acting like Tyler is the only one who had done mistakes? All of them are just a bunch of idiots who pretend to be perfect and they are NOT. I can't even enjoy Zach's character because he is such a dick most of the times. He hang out with Bryce, he also knows that he is a rapist but apparently he doesn't give a fuck, he bullies people, he's ashamed to be seen with Alex, do i have to go on? Was Zach supposed to be a "nice guy"? Cause the writers did a hot mess with his character, they made him dirty

Zach isn't a bad guy, though. He's not 'hanging out with Bryce'. He's only with him during school and even then, he barely acknowledges him unless Bryce comes up to him and that's cause he wants to stay on the team. Zach was only keeping a 'peace' with him because he wanted to stay on the team and he didn't want them after him. Bryce is manipulative and he turned everyone against Alex, so Zach was scared of getting targeted to. It's selfish, but understandable in a fucked up way. You can see he does give a fuck, though. He tries his best to avoid Bryce when he can and eventually he does crack. I do agree, though, that all the characters have flaws and made mistakes and it sucks that they pin it all on Tyler. Of course, Tyler's was probably the worst out of Alex, Jessica, Courtney, Zach, and Ryan's, but they don't have to treat him that way. Alex wanted him at the party and thanks to Zach and Jessica, he thinks Alex hates him. I do understand why they did it, cause they're trying to protect Alex, but then Jessica snapped at Alex and that didn't help him AT ALL. If anything, now she made him feel even worse so thanks Jessica. And Zach does hide Alex a lot, which is sad. But in the end, I don't hate them for that. Because we know they have good hearts and are just stupid and think they're trying to help when they're not, lol. But their heart is in the right place, which is the most important thing.

That party scene where Alex loses it, and says how he wishes he was dead was sad to watch, but I love Jess for telling him off. Even though I do love Alex, he was acting annoying throughout the first half of the season, and someone needed to set him straight.
