The little girl has gills as it’s her warlock mark 😂 Magnus has his cat eyes - others can have like different colour skin or scales ect 😂 mostly they hide them

Most of the fans agree that this is one of the weakest episodes in this season, for the exact reasons that you listed. Next episode I feel is where things truly start to kick off for season 2. As a reader of the books I’m actually quite happy they killed of Jocelyn in the show, she never contributed to anything of importance in the book. And in turn I think it gives the show a chance for some MUCH needed character development for Clary and Luke. One of the things I did like this episode was Magnus (same with every episode) but I feel like everyone should just listen to what he says and then everything will go right. Ready for your reaction to the next episode!

Ahh, now that you've got through this episode I think it will get better from this point onwards, without spoiling anything - I can't wait for you to see a particular episode later in the season, if you "liked" Alec's plot here. Honestly I agree with the points you've made about this episode, but I also feel like it was kind of necessary for Clary to have this one episode to deal with this instead of just dragging it out over like the next 10 episodes, so there's that. Ok, I'm SO ready for you to watch 2x06!

i love this episode! I guess i get why people don't but idk, i loved seeing Alec's guilt and it breaks my heart because he's been holding in a lot of it. Like he always blames himself for things that don't make sense. Like not saving Jace or killing Jocelyn, even though he couldn't stop those things. I'm glad you liked Alec's plot, i guess that's the main reason I love this episode. Plus, I enjoyed Simon's storyline and Izzy's. I also loved the ending. I get your reasons, though, and agree with most of them.
