"i love how he calls him his brother, it's so cute." same. At least, it's cute when Jace says it. But whenever Alec says it, i find it so uncomfortable...cause i mean, he's wanted to have sex with him at one point in life lol. But yeah, this episode is just amazing to me. Shows how close Jace and Alec are. it explains the parabatai bond and how it works. Like it's basically marriage, let's be real. This was a great episode, one of my favorites ever. Dominic, Harry, Matthew, and Alberto are probably the best actors. For certain scenes, at least. Dominic and Alberto are good at emotional scenes while Harry and Matthew are good at angst scenes.

I loved how they portayed the parabatai bond in this episode. How Jace and Alec would do pretty much everything for eachother, but after having read the infernal devices nothing compares to Will and Jem when it comes to parabatai bonds. The meeting scene between Jace and Alec actually reminded me a bit of Will and Jems meeting. In the training room doing target practice. I like that they are explaining parabatai bonds more in season two, but frankly I just don’t feel like Jace and Alec are the best example of parabatais, espescially after season one were they fought through the entire season. Cassandra Clare wrote a much better parabatai relationship for Will and Jem. It would have been great if Jace and Alec would be as close as those two were.
