Joe, this time you have the chance to follow Skam in real time. At least follow the characters on SoMe. They are very active, the least active character will post 50 Insta post, the most active ones over 300! Pluss Insta stories. So far it adds quite a lot to the story.

Joe ❤️ I agree btw, Daphné is so beautiful! I agree that it’s more polished as well. I’m coming back to what I said about the social media. They seem to be doing an amazing job there so far. I agree-the music was good but don`t they all look a bit old? Remember that Isak was actually 16 when they started filming and we got to see him grow from a little bean to a handsome young man.This in my opinion leands extra authenticity to the show that will not happen in the French version.As the actor playing Lucas is already 20 years old...

The norwegian skam was always a low budget series, which only goes to show how great it was regardless. It does not surprise me that other countries will have more money to play with. To be fair though, I think some of the reason the original skam did not have perfect camera shots were so that it would feel more real. The channel skam was on in Norway is known for their quality in filming, and probably could have used better cameras and editing if they wanted to. I think it is possible that the french version chose to have a more clean look to differantiate the look of the two shows.

I liked this first episode quite a bit. The only thing I don't really like is how slick it looks. I kind of wish they held on to that low budget feel which lent more realism to it. I'm also concerned that the similarities may grow boring for me since I've watched original several times, but it's not bothering me yet :)
