I think a little is lost in translation in this episode. The scene where Sana tells Isak he just has to realize he's alone, to me is more of a general statement, as in "everyone is alone" (very similar to Even's words in s3.9) which is why Isak is reacting the way he is. He's worried about her. He doesn't really need help with his biology studies, he's just a good friend who knows what loneliness sounds (and feels) like.

Also, no translation of the old messages flashing in the beginning? Hate Sana has had before, «acid in her face, forced to marry, tear of that hijab» Etc. Same goes for the lyrics to the song: don’t talk to me, I don’t wanna talk, every body knows that bitch is crazy (camera on Even)

I love the use of symbolism and metafors. Like the carrots. And how the girls all had white t-shirts and jeans, while Sana were all black. Even Yousef had a white top, the other boys had dark colours.

Joe, do you understand the whole Jamilla story now? It goes back to season 1. Jamilla is the fiancé to Sana's older brother. In season 1 called the hijab-police. Sana had thought they had written something bad on Insta when Sana had been to a party in a russebuss, so to take revenge, Sana had logged on to her Facebook messages and found all the juicy messages between Jamilla and her finacé, then posted them on Jamilla's FB wall.... So, one can understand Jamilla was quite pissed. So... Sana has been down this road before, and should know it's not a good thing to do. When this episode happend, it was also during Ramadan. Sana was supposed to behave even better than the rest of the year.. So that might have been what stopped her from sending that reply to Sara and the girls in that chat.
