There are better episodes of Skam than this one. But... This episode was actually the one that made me realize how incredible Skam is. Just as you were saying, you expected another outcome and reaction to Isak coming out to Jonas, and instead we got a non-judgemental conversation between two friends. So therefore, in my opinion, this is one of the most important scenes of Skam, at least from S3. Also, great reactions as always!

Thank you for putting this out now, I have been waiting for this. I love the ending scene, I read that it's taken from a boy who experienced like that himself, that makes the scene even stronger. You got me nervous all over again ;)

Yeah, this coming out is different because the writers talked to young gay men who had come out to a friend. The scene you see here is how one young gay dude came out to his friend, he told the writers and they used it. Anyway---GREAT reaction and review from you for this episode.

I love that ending scene so much, it really was so important in what a tool it was for a lot of people. I remember there being a lot of talk about it and people reacting, articles and interviews on it changing people's way of looking at things and how they will try to react if someone comes out to them, and the scene giving closeted kids the strength to come out. So beautiful! Skam really changed lives. And all the stories on the Skam page under this clip, it really was an amazing day when it came out, I couldn't stop the happy tears and the warmth from everyone sharing was incredible. Awesome reaction, Joe! Can't wait for episode 7, and then the final three :O

Yes, the episode feels a bit slow and different than other episodes in Skam, which is excactly why it's so good. Think about where Isak is emotionally, he's been hiding, depressed, sleep deprived and doesn't feel like talking to his friends. The tempo of the episode just mirrors his feelings in a genious way. And the ending is so great, everybody should be blessed with a friend like Jonas.

I love how Jonas' first question is: "What's his name?" It's perfect. His best friends loves someone, so he does what a best friend should do. Asks about the love interest. Shows that he cares. And the fact that Isak just came out to him is secondary, his non-reaction shows that it doesn't matter, he's not going to treat Isak any differently. It's so fucking simple how you can turn a thing like this into 100% support, and Jonas shows all of us how it's done. "What's his name?"

And we had to wait over a week to find out what happened to Isak and where he was physically, mentally and emotionally after the party. It was awful :'(
