This show was such a wild ride. And I can’t believe the main actor/writer went through all of this. Just such a crazy thought. I will say they did get me with that Martha clip at the end. The woman that played Martha did such a great job at making me dislike her yet also sympathize with her. I also love how loving and supportive his parents were at the end. And also his ex gf and her mom. Excited to see what he does next!

I had a thought watching this again with you - the ending always was weird to me. Why did he go back to the abusive guy and nothing happened? Now I get the parallel. He went to see the guy that arguably had no mitigating evidence to have hurt him, and wanted to see him feel sorry or see the consequence and there was nothing. In contrast to Martha, who we truly realise the level of her mental illness only in those last few moments, who got prison - when his abuser who made him believe he deserved Martha walks free still. Then the realisation breakdown. Mad. Powerful. Good reactions, it must have been difficult to react to something like this!
