Vote for as many options as you'd like, I'm taking this poll to better understand the kind of games people enjoy. (Or at least what they think they enjoy ;P )

There are a lot of opposites here, so naturally only pick what you really value in hentai games.

I was actually wondering if you would be willing to do more for animations. I know that would be more work, but the scenes where there were more animation I like better, like the scene with Ruby/Rarity in FwB.

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer to see more of the breeding/pregnancy progression mechanic like you see in games like S.H.E.L.T.E.R and Summertime Saga. My Tuition Academia seems to have started it somewhat, but that was my only complaint with FwB was you couldn't "really" get any of the girls pregnant. Looking forward to how this is going to be implemented in MG1000 since it seems to be a major story point.

I actually prefer action games a lot more and find visual novels a turn off. Don't get me wrong, VN's have a lot of going for them, but I like platforming and action and exploration. When you get to a new area and ask yourself "what am I going to find here? What's going to happen here?"

I find dark themes unappealing so, if they are to be included, I'd want them to be a toggleable option in the menu or signposted to the player so they can choose to avoid them. I don't want to accidentally make a mistake in a moonlogic puzzle and now suddenly MC is is doing something horrible to someone else.

Mnemosyne

i agree with this, especially with an artist thats very much on the bright side of things when you look at the art

And on a more positive note. I like games with stat/raising going on that have choices and outcomes based on both dialogue options and checks against your stats or previous actions. This means sometimes you'll miss things as going one way locks out other routes. Combine that with a wide cast of characters and variety of fetishes and locations to visit/things to do and that gives plenty of replay value.

is the town and breeding stuff going to be a core component or rather a side-thing going forward with the game? Because i can definitely see a lot of good potential in it.

Is it going to be a pregnancy cycle type thing where it can be repeated or is it just going to be that you knock them up and they are pregnant until the end of the game?

Collar Spider

I always enjoy getting to dress up a girl and I love having tons of options for outfits

Fair, but a Monster Girl doesn't necessarily have to have a 9 month pregnancy.

I decided on World building, Slice of life, 100% save file completionism, Visual novel elements, and Relationship building - all of these are components of the critically acclaimed 'Amorous' furry VN. I also believe there should be a fairly-sized cast of romancable and supporting characters in a H game, with the option to explore light fetishes (of course this is subjective, but I'm letting you pick and choose). Large worlds and epic stories are fine but I'm sure you don't want to spend an eternity on one project which could be done more quickly with a dev team. Dark themes and fetishes, including 99% of interaction being totally sex are elements which are highly exclusive and in my opinion, quite brain-dead. Game replay value could absolutely be derived from forming good relationships with the characters, even the ones you don't try to get in bed. Puzzles should really have safety nets in the form of game difficulty, such as knowing the general consequences of actions. I'm on the fence about pregnancy, but it would be cute to raise a kid with your favorite character.

HeraldInTheDark

One thing that annoys me is when games have required fetishes for progression. A big example of this is anal. Whether a lot of people want to recognize it or not, regardless of whether or not it's a common fetish, anal IS a fetish. And there are WAY too many games that force you to delve into this as part of the required relationship progression. Kinda kills the mood for me.

Mnemosyne

i agree but, dont see it as a big problem as you can just click through scenes you dont like very fast

Cutie Honey

I would like to be able to establish a lesbian relationship in MTA. Or any game.

Greeny Three

This, and the lesbain sex scene with Penelope was a bit of a mood killer. The ability to skip certain sex scenes altogether that are mandatory to the story would be nice.

Revalusion .

Really Most of what you do already is pretty solid in my opinion, though I haven't done anything with My Tuition Academia. If anything i only wish your sex scenes had a standard of more like 6 or 7 frames instead of more like 4 or 5.

To clarify: I've chosen a few seemingly conflicting options (most notably: choices matter/don't matter), because I like a combination of these - I'm essentially pulling a Zoidberg. Why not both? Have *some* choices that matter, and *some* that are purely visual/playstyle-related. It shouldn't really matter that much HOW I solve a particular problem (though there are obvious exceptions here - slaughtering everyone shouldn't be a popular vote), but it absolutely should matter whether I take up the task or ignore it (or who I side with, if that's an option).

To be honest, the game(s) could ask about your sexual preference (it could be a short questionnaire about enjoying watching, then participating, in the various pair-offs like m/m, f/f etc.). It could also serve a bit of integration - if the story calls for something the player would *not* enjoy, the characters used to construct the situation could be sourced against this preference. At the very least, the game could have an option that says "Skip sex scenes that don't match my preferences" or something (and for those that are mandatory to the progression, switch them out to a tamer/shorter version).

To further clarify: having content that can (or even should) be missed is nothing new. Most VNs (as opposed to kinetic novels) will require you to go down a particular path, and if the VN is good - this will end up playing into the larger storyline, eventually (think: CLANNAD, or Muv-Luv). Knowing that you'll miss content also adds some gravity to your choices. It helps if it's fairly obvious what you're giving up, i.e. when the choice is clear. I'm not against a "one save to rule them all" approach - I do like going for the "best" ending, after all, and that tends to include *everything* I can get my hands on... Alas, the world rarely works out like that - often having the use of one character rules out the use of another. However... "having the cookie and eating it too" isn't necessarily impossible - it's essentially the *third* path, the road less travelled. Of course, this means a lot of extra development work...
